I am a senior in high school. Anything that I need to do now or while getting my basics in college?
Thanks!

Know what nursing school you’re planning on attending early on, meet with their admissions advisors and go through their admissions process and KNOW it like the back of your hand. Each school has their own unique criteria for ranking students for admission to the nursing program, so figure out what you can do to position yourself at the top. Most schools factor in GPA (so keep a high one), ACT or SAT score, some make you take a nursing admissions test, like TEAS or NLN, which is very similar to an ACT with just reading comprehension, math, and some science. They might also factor in how many of your general education courses you have completed towards your degree, so the more you complete before starting the nursing core courses the better off you would be.
That’s about it really. Best of luck to you!
