Are My Grades And Gpa Good Enough To Qualify For Nursing School?
I'm considering a career in perinatal nursing, and I know that nursing school nowadays is really competitive. My current GPA is a 3.5, and I am taking 3 Honors classes, with an additional AP class. I am making above a B- in all of these classes, with an A in most. Will I get into a good nursing school, despite the fact that I'm no particular whiz at math?

Most nursing schools wouldn’t require higher levels of math like calculus. Math 100 and Intro to Statistics would be enough. Depending on your college of choice, you would apply to get into the college itself, THEN apply to get into the nursing major.
Nursing schools wouldn’t look only at your GPA. Some require you to take a separate entrance exam, and some letters of recommendation.
What’s more important than grades to being a great nurse is the passion because nursing is a science and an art of caring. Good luck!
