“Best” is entirely subjective. There are definitely good nursing programs and ones that aren’t as great, but in the end, they all have to meet the same requirements in order for you to fulfill the state’s requirements for education as a nurse, so it honestly doesn’t matter where you go. It shouldn’t impact your job prospects or future educational aspirations.
I went to a community college, a 2-year RN program that wasn’t really well known, yet once I graduated and passed my license exam I got myself a job at one of the best hospitals in the world for my specialty (perinatal services).
And with nursing in such high demand, nursing schools are very competative for admission – especially at the community college programs! – so you really have to plan on applying to more than one program if you’re serious about becoming a nurse, because you might not get into the school you want.
Which do you want more, to be a nurse, or to have the prestige of a school name on your diploma? If prestige is all you care about, you’ll might be in for a rude awakening when it comes to admission. Good luck to you, whatever school you choose!

Where ever you decide to go, make sure the school is accredited. You can choose between a 2 or 4 year college/university. Some ADN (2 year) programs provide more clinical experience then most 4 year schools in my area. I would ask around. My school had a 99% pass rate on the state boards to those who graduated from their program.
You will learn so much more on the job, working with patients. Always shadow someone on a unit that you are applying for a job. If you get a bad feeling about particular unit or hospital, don’t take the job. Ask what their nurse to patient ratio is and the average years of experience of nurses on that unit.
I love being a nurse. I would never do anything different. Good luck!

I’m going to guess Chamberlain school of nursing based on their record. Walden and UofP would be a close second.. How off am I ? LOL
