They can not be trusted any more than right wing media but look at how many people swear that right wing media is telling them the truth. I asked a question & someone answered that she didn’t care for Bush but everything Obama did was a million times worst. So I though of the death & destruction that came under Bush’s decisions & I asked her to give me reasons as to why she thought Obama was worst. She refused to give me one reason. She told me to watch the news. I do watch the news just not Fox news except occasionally to see if they are still just putting people down all the time. So while the insurance industry is going to make themselves look trustworthy they are a wolf in sheeps clothing.

All sides of the debate are self serving, biased liars. You should know that by now and have spent some time studying the facts instead of listening to the liars and blind followers.
How can you trust the insurance industry, the government or the medical industry to give you unblemished truth? Believing any one of them makes you a gullible fool! Take the hours needed and do the research for yourself. Learn what is really being proposed and add the numbers up for yourself. Filter everything based on experience with the various involved parties.
That’s what I did. In the end I think the path of government intervention is a gross failure in the making and millions will be harmed.

We should trust the insurance companies more than we trust the government. Insurance companies are publicly held corporations. Their records are open to review and the government frequently reviews them. The government regulates insurance companies. Who regulates the government? How much of the government is hidden from review? Politicians are self-serving panderers who should shut up and sit down. There is NOTHING in the Constitution of the United States that allows the federal government to interfere in health care.

    Absolutely NOT !
The same problem exists in medical negligence , a judge cannot be expected to be educated in all areas of medicine as well and so he or she must really on the advice medical professionals who are for the most part entirely against any claim of negligence , this means that only the most obvious of errors are admitted . No amount of qualification can explain why a patient with a bad arm had his leg cut off !

  5. Golfer Says:

Insurance was suppose to be protection now it is profit.
Insurance companies gamble on your well being.
As much as I dislike Blue Cross/ BS i would still rather see them in charge instead of our government.
To fix costs we need to set regulations for Ins, Co across America so we all can get adequate coverage.
Insurance company’s would be better off stating their problem so congress could get an accurate picture of the costs—most of them never have worked and don’t understand profit.

  6. serf 2.0 Says:

I second what Fur God’s Sake said — they are unneeded middlemen, leeches who have a vested interest in NOT PAYING.
Just stop and think clearly about it for a minute: an industry whose sole purpose is to make a profit, while paying out cash to help people who are sick. The only way to guarantee a profit in such an industry is either to pay out as little as possible, or to jack the premiums up as high as possible.
    Leeches, pure and simple.

  7. Fur God's Sake, OMG Says:

Of course not, they have a vested interest to supply misinformation.
Health insurance companies are simply a unneeded middleman, time to put them out of business, if you ask me.

  8. Go Go Power Rangers Says:

yes, but they are cynical, and they know the poor redneck republicans who they hope to exploit in the future, are the same ones who are supporting them now. kind of sad.

  9. Jane Says:

give me a break–the people in the insurance industry are just people and there are corrupt people everywhere-just look in the whitehouse

  10. gov. of, by and for corporations Says:

absolutely not. their only concern is the bottom line.

  11. Palin K.M.A** Says:

Yes, I agree, why aren’t they out defending themselves.

  12. lawrence Says:

Sure they are. So is the government.
    What’s the overall point?
