   Some of the best, kindest, most hands on nurses in US hospitals are from other countries.
   Many US nurses are afraid to care, afraid to touch a patient, have a nasty attitude, and are not suited for nursing.
   The problem in the US is the college educated nurse of today vs. the hospital nursing school educated nurse of yesterday.
   You learn to be a nurse in a hospital not a university……………..

   Of course. Filipino and Filipina nurses (although most are women) are well trained, caring, and have good “bedside manners”. I have been the employer of four nurses from the Philippines and all have been excellent caregivers (one could show tampo, but ….). There is a serious shortage of good nurses in the U.S. and Filipino nurses have allowed many hospitals to continue operating. It is a shame that there are few opportunities in their country for these good workers.

   they are the finest,not only in the U.S. but also in Europe and every where else.The Philippines maybe a third world country but they produce the finest in everything,but sadly,they don’t have the same opportunity in their own country.

   YES! that’s a big yes! the filipino nurses have been a part of the health industry of US for more than 5O years now.

   yes both my aunts are filipino one half and one whole and both work in hospitials the half is a respertory therapist and the whole is a nurse
