Does The Weekend Have To End Without Resolving Health Care. Do We Really Have To Go Back To Work Tomorrow?

I was hoping that people would see that getting government and insurance companies out of the way would save our health care industry .
Let doctors regulate prices and do as anyone who gets a bad check does .
Bring back debtors prison .

Yes, let them die now and reduce the surplus population. And, to further it along, let’s feed poor kids to the rich.

And for the record, healthcare was sadly resolved several decades ago. E.R.s by law are required to treat everyone who passes through their doors regardless of their lack of insurance or inability to pay. AND, are required to not only treat to stabilize, but then must make arrangements for adequate follow-up care. “Universal Healthcare” is a ruse.
Next, will be the issue of hunger. We’ll just mandate that the swankiest and most expensive digs in town be required to feed the hungry until they are nolonger hungry and then make them find an adequate food source regardless of their inability to pay… It’s the law and it’s also very abusive and expensive!

No, don’t bother to go back to work. Take the rest of the year off. A Mexican will gladly take your place.

Ok, do you really think that in the modern era you can allow doctors to set their own prices? This isn’t like shopping for a new TV. How am I suppose to verify that what they claim needs to be done truly does, and that the price they are asking is reasonable? Do you really think that doctors aren’t a for-profit business? They are in this for money as much as the drug companies.

If your a lib, you don’t have to go to work tomorrow, normal people have to work though

I guess I agree. I do work every day though. Have no idea what it’s like not to fend for myself.
It’s bass ackwards not to have a safety net. It’s also counter intuitive to think that “smarts” motivation isn’t needed to control costs. The kind of motivation that prevents un-needed procedures…
