Hospital Staff In West Yorkshire Must Make Sure Muslim Patients’ Beds Face In The Direction Of Mecca, In Saudi

The measures were put in place by Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust to ensure Muslim patients have a "more comfortable stay in hospital". But nurses were obliged to break off from their health care duties to perform the ritual.
They were told the measure should be carried out if "practically possible." But an experienced nurse at Dewsbury and District Hospital in Yorkshire where the ideas were tested, blasted the scheme.
She said: "It would be easier to create Muslim-only wards with every bed facing Mecca than deal with this.
Conservative MP David Davies also criticised the idea, saying: "Hospitals should be concentrating on stopping the spread of infections than kowtowing to the politically-correct brigade."
Absolutely right. What on earth is going on?
Apparently hundreds of nursing and Hospital staff attended Tax-payer funded workshops with Muslim GP's and ethnic-minority support groups on how best to help patients! What about ethnic English patients.

  1. hellooo!! can anybody help me? Says:

All that the government is good for is taxing us to the max and then blowing our money on their own houses and stupid schemes like this!!
What did the Muslims do for the last 20/30 odd years? Complain? I don’t think so. So why change anything now?
If you give someone too much room for maneuver they just take the p*ss!! (I’m talking about everyone in this point not just Muslims)

I agree that the prime purpose of hospital is medical services.
But, if the bed orientation doesn’t affect the operations, or put a stress on personnel, then it can’t hurt to implement it.
