How Bad Does A Failed And Retaken Course Look On A Transcript When Applying For Nursing School?

I am pretty sure that i will not be passing my stats class this semester... and am planning on taking it again this summer. I will make sure i get tutoring to help improve my grade. But i will be applying for a nursing school next year.. so how bad will this look. will i still be able to get in or is this a big no no?

    Most likely the better of two grades will show on the transcript. They probably wouldn’t even notice once you get the better grade.

    Usually, if you retake the exact same course, the second grade will replace the first. It just depends on your school’s policy.
