I will be graduating as an RN in 7 months. I am very excited thinking about graduation, but I am having a hard time staying motivated in school. Any suggestions? What helped you keep going?

So, what exactly does it take to keep motivated to stay in school until it is completed. The first step is to keep reminding yourself why you enrolled. It might be a chance to escape some dead end position. You may be looking for more income and job opportunities. Any number of personal reasons may have fueled your zeal to get back to school. If the reason was solid a few weeks or months ago, it should still be valid and good today.
Keep looking at where you are. If the circumstances have not changed, you still should want to make the advances you have planned. The lack of satisfaction and unhappiness will come charging back. This should give you enough motivation to keep going forward.
If you are enrolled in a specific program like nursing or teaching, you may be able to form a study group. If this group becomes strong, each member will be helped to stay involved with the education. A new source of motivation becomes the desire to help the group and be a part of it. The group itself will work to encourage each member not to drop from the program because it will hurt the group.
Think of the money that you may have already spent to get into school. If this is in the form of loans or payments made from a savings account, the money that has already been committed will help keep you wanting to go on and not waste the money. Some people are more motivated by money than others. Either way, this will add another log on the motivation fire.
Before starting the program, tell lots of friends and family what you are getting ready to do. Since you will no want to go back to them and confess failure, this will help you stay motivated. Who wants to have to explain failure to 50 different people?
If you establish a routine that will for study time, family time, and some down time before you begin classes, this will help keep you from feeling overwhelmed by all that needs to be done. You also will not feel like you never have time for yourself. As long as your schedule feels like it can be managed, motivation will not be a huge problem.
Finally, make a point not to hang out with people who encourage you to cut class or procrastinate on your homework. Falling behind will be a big hindrance to motivation. You need to feel like you can stay ahead of the study curve. This is especially true during the first semester or two after you return.

either be commited to work, or have some relationship at work kind of boyfriend or girl friend. or i dont know, coz you need to find it something which keeps running in you to go to work.
i Use internet, or dress up specially for work so keeps me motivated talking abt clothes fashion, or cocktail parties after work. also things in work, like taking training sessions for others, games etc.
