It’s a lot cheaper to buy a used car. Try ebay.com
Some advice from someone who bought 3 cars on ebay. I only bought cars that were under warranty so if there was something wrong with it I could get it fixed. I read all of the feedback to the person’s website and found out who was a good seller and who was not. I called the dealer with the vin number and checked to make sure it was still under warranty and that I could still get an extended warranty if it was expiring soon. I did a check of the vin number (small fee ebay can put you in touch) to make sure it wasn’t flooded or some other problem in the insurance history. I checked the kelly blue book to make sure I was getting a good buy.

I’d get something I could pay off before school started. That way you have one less thing to worry about until you graduate.

I would never buy a new car unless I had won the lottery or something like that.. The value goes down way to fast.. you can get a quality used care that is only a couple of years old for a much better price..

It depends on how much travelling you need to do, especially in isolated areas where you might get stranded and whether you know a good mechanic who can fix anything that might go wrong.
A cheap old car may not stay cheap if things go wrong.

Fantastic psychic ability ….. how do you know your school is going to fall? Also I must say that your commitment to nurse it through it’s time of need is admirable. Your probably going to be too busy to think about cars you know …. oh I’m sorry how stupid of me … I’ve got it now … that’s why your doing this now before the school falls (duuugh stupid me). I must say you are one smart and impressive individual. You don’t need the advice of the likes of me or anyone else out there …. just use the force …. you’ll make the right decision I’m certain of it.
