I was playing with the idea of joining the army and becoming a doctor or anything of that sort. Will i have to be required to go to boot camp or the training?

Yes you can become a nurse. But you absolutely have to go through ALL the training and foremost you have to get a qualifying ASVAB score.

Doctors in the military have what’s called a direct commission. It means they were doctors before they signed up. You won’t get to be a doctor in the military unless you already are one, sorry.
You can do other medical related things but not a doctor and yes you go to boot camp and then you get training in whatever your job will be.

The military will pay for you to become a doctor, if you have already been accepted to a med school. After that most branches have some sort of officer training course that you must attend to receive your commission
