Is Getting Into Nursing School And Becoming And Registered Nurse Difficult?
I'm in high school and I have a strong dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. I just wanted to know briefly about getting into Nursing School. Is it considered difficult to just get accepted to be in part of the RN program? I know it's alot of work and studying to do while studying, but what about applying to one?

There is a lot of competition to get into nursing school, however the need is great for more nurses. You may want to consider attending community college and taking the courses there.
Yes, it is difficult to become a nurse. Keeping your goal in mind the whole time will make it easier to stay on track.
Best wishes.

Thank you for choosing a field where a caring person is needed !
I have several friends who have undergone the process of becoming an R.N. and it may take several months to get in the program that requires about two years of training and education to achieve your goal .
You will need to acquaint yourself with the times that they start accepting applicants for the/a program .
They really like their jobs but one of the things they have in common as far as a negative comment is concerned is the paperwork and the demands on their time often conflict with the ‘burdens’ of patients and paperwork .
It is an honorable profession that has with it the sense of satisfaction of seeing someone recover from disease and injury ; however , their is tragedy as well when you “lose a patient”.
Again , my compliments to you and allow me to encourage you in your good work ! Good luck !
