Is It Possible To Work As A Doctor In The Uk With Us Training?
I've just moved to the UK on a spousal visa, so I am sorting out my job options. I am not sure if I can work as a physician here. Is there an exam I'd have to take to qualify? And, I can't work here, any recommendations of the best job to get which would be challenging and with similar pay? Thank you.

1) Have u completed your residency?
2) If not then you may want to look into taking the PLAB exam
3) british medical journal http://www.bmj.com (careers section)
4) I know a few US trained docs working here (they had completed their residencies in IM and a couple surgeons (CTSurgery and GSurg)…
Note your training in the UK will not be worth much in the US (unfair I think, but thats the way it is currently)
At the end of the day I think you will find that there are options… GL

People are people everywhere. As long as two races can procreate and produce fertile offspring, they are considered the same species.
