    No business is recession proof.
If your overheads are bigger then your income it will fail no matter what.
Its a matter of controlling costs and not keeping any white elephants in the hard times

A recession doesn’t mean every business will be out of order, therefore everyone will be screwed, i.e. the health care industry ending therefore no one gets treatments.
A recession means that the economy isn’t as stable as it was, and has not been growing due to numerous reasons, therefore the economy’s GDP is negative. It might lead to unemployment and even deflation, but this will not stop something as important as the Health Industry. As well there is always the government. This is one of the jobs that the Government is entitled too, during a recession to aid their country.
In theory, there is always a recovery after a recession. Yet there is no stated time period.
