Should I Go To Medical School Or A Second Degree Nursing School?

I have planned on going to a second degree nursing school since my 3rd year of college, but now am considering going through Medical School. Does anyone have any pros or cons to either option. Any advice? Personal Stories?

Both have pros and cons. Medical school would be wonderful, but requires tremendous dedication. It also requires you to have certain classes taken before you can matriculate. Med school is 4 years plus a minimum of 3 more for residency, while nursing school will be much shorter.
Both make good money, but a doctor will and should make more due to the extra time and cost of education. Doctors will average $200,000 in debt out of medical school where a nurse will be nowhere near that.
If you are a girl, which I assume you are, you have to consider family time as you get older and have children. Nothing against women being doctors, but it is something to think about since you are the ones dealing with pregnancies and nursing and such.
Both are great, respectable careers. In the end it comes down to which you really want.

I will choose medical school with a hearbeat. The pay and opportunity is much better graduating from med school than nursing school.
