Oh Dear God,,,,, DO NOT listen to Remmy
Hospitals are the most infected places on earth.
1. The Swine flu is weak enough now, 2 vaccines are currently effective against it.
2. Wash hands alot and do not touch your face, ever.
3. Masks are worthless unless you are wearing goggles. Masks should be used by the sick to limit the spread.
4. Wash hands alot and do not touch your face, ever.
Dont listen to the Media and Remmy, they are clueless. The problem with this Swine flu….Mutation and Trend.
This is a new virus, it has 4 strains, Swine, Avian and 2 human from North America and Europe.
This thing is mutating, the problem is, will it mutate to the point where the fatality rate is above 15%. If it does, then you are easily looking at 1918 numbers of 50 million dead worldwide.
It has spread to multiple regions of the world, so more than 1 mutation would amount to 2 different deadly virus.
This is following the same trend that the 1918 and 1919 Influenza outbreak had. Started killing off very small numbers but the dead ranged from 20-40 years of age. The second wave (mutation) killed 50 million world wide. 3rd wave killed more but the numbers will never be known.
The key now; Look at South America. It is their flu season, if they start having Mexico City numbers then we will only get a stronger strain for our flu season. Only Colombia has reported a swine flu case, but 1=1000. Easily spreads.

Hospitals are already very clean and sterile. They have to deal with real infectious diseases every day, not fake media BS ones like swine flu.
Keep in mind that swine flu has been in the US for almost 2 months and has killed a grand total of 6 people, most if not all of whom were already sick. For comparison, lightning strikes kill 90 Americans per year, which works out to 7.5 per month. This means that since swine flu hit the US, it has killed 6 people and lightning has killed 15.
What is your hospital doing to protect against lightning?

Wash your hands excessively. It’s what every staff member in a hospital does on a regular basis to prevent airborne diseases. Washing your hands is the more effective way of preventing most contagious diseases (cold, flu, etc). The flu is relatively easy to prevent compared to other contagious diseases.
And there is this about wearing masks:http://www.albertahealthservices.com/130...
Betcha didn’t know that!

I think it’s ridiculous that they won’t allow you to wear a mask when someone’s died from it in your area. There’s no vaccine available yet, so I would suggest taking Airborne & making sure you’re drinking plenty of fluids.

I think that is stupid because what if you or another staff gets it and spreads it throughout the hospital, the hospital will collaspe and people will not get the care they need resulting in thousands of deaths. You should raise your concerns with your boss

Most hospitals are filled with intelligent people who realize that the Swine Flu is easily cureable, and practicing good health (washing you hands, covering your mouth) will only help prevent a minimal chance of contracting it.

they r wearing the protective suit and following the Universal health precaution”which means acting as if every patient is potentially infected
