What Does It Mean If You’re An Alternate Applicant For Nursing School?
I just received a notice from the nursing school i applied that i am considered an alternate. The school choose applicants based on points and i'm RIGHT in the middle - i'm applying for spring quarter (which i heard isn't that competitive) sooo what do you think my chances are?
they can't just tell me i'm on the wait list and think i'm not gonna get in, right? (or at least i hope) or maybe they can say i am on the waitlist and if people dont decline i might not get in

You are probably on a wait list. I am in nursing school right now and applied at the earliest I could I am now in second year and have heard the wait list for the next 2 starts are full, just wait, alot of people drop out within the first week, and alot of people chose something else before they have even started and alot of people chose other schools and not the one your waiting for, its worth the wait! have you thought about applying to other schools?

That depends on your race. If you are an indian you’ll be at the top of the list, if you are an immagrant you’ll be second from the list, If you’re just a single white chick out there trying to upgrade yourself you probably don’t stand a chance.
You’ll be last.
