What Hormone Medication Do The Doctors Normally Put You On To Have Normal Periods If You Have Pcos?
I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, and my doctor has put me on hormones so that I will have a normal period. I am about to go pick up the medication, and I cannot remember the name of it. Does anyone know the names of some hormone medications? I can't be put on the pill because my blood pressure is too high.

I have PCOS, too. Years ago, a Dr put me on BC & it really messed up my emotions. I stopped taking them & started exercising regularly & eating better – less fat, more fruits & vegetables, no meat (it has hormones in it). I also stopped drinking caffeinated beverages & drank lots of water. My period became lighter & more regular. Cramping went away, too – now that’s a great bonus!
(I’m in my 40′s and feel better than I did when I was a teenager.)
Just wanted you to know there are other options besides drugs.
