I have this instructor on whom I have a HUGE crush! She's perfection in my book, but she's married to a man, and together they have 2 children, ages 5 and 2. This person and I have had some "encounters" and I'm unsure as to whether it is just me projecting and thinking they are actually something, or if she's just doing things and not meaning anything by them. Examples include staying in the locker room to watch me change into my scrubs (I'm in a medical-related class), poking me in the butt when she was behind me on a staircase, and other innocent gestures, not to mention always picking on me out of fun. I'm wondering if she could be flirting with me, or if I'm just taking things out of context because I WANT there to be something between us. I'm a lesbian, in case it isn't obvious, and she's supposedly straight. However, I know that it isn't uncommon for gay people to marry the opposite sex to try to live a traditional life. Any thoughts? Only serious answers need apply.
I can not and will not tell her I am a lesbian! It would wreck our relationship (that being of a teacher/student, and at best friends)! I am not offended by her gestures or joking around. In fact, I almost like my little fantasy land I'm in. However, I do not "get off" on what she does. I'm just curious as to whether it means anything. That's all.

Maybe she’s just bi-curious ? Maybe she wants to experiment with you, but isn’t sure how to get things rolling, so she’s trying to send you signals. Maybe she isn’t getting enough satisfaction from her husband and wants to try it with a woman, but is afraid to just come out and ask. I’m just a stupid man, but try poking her back, make a few subtle gestures and see how she reacts. She may be dying for you to make a move. Hey, if all else fails, just come out and ask her, if she knows that you’re gay, she won’t be too shocked. I hope it works out for you, we all need a little happiness.

Explain to her that you are a homosexual, and that you are becoming sexually aroused by her gestures and staring. If she is not a homosexual, then the kidding and touching should stop. After all, most heterosexual women don’t really want to wrongly engage with women who are homosexual.

it could be either way but all i want to say is that you shouldn’t be dabbling in this area even if she is attracted to you. she’s married and has 2 young ones, so she is already in a (maybe) committed relationship, and has 2 young children to take care of. whatever you decide to do, think and choose wisely.

Regardless of what your instructor may or may not be trying to signal to you – YOU need to stay away. Don’t go down this road. This woman is married with kids and, if she is flirting with you, what do you think will come of it? nothing good. You dont’ want to have an affair with her, do you? I know you’re not that kind of person!!!
There are tons of beautiful, attractive, flirtatious and SINGLE lesbian women out there!
forgot the instructor and look for someone that you could actually have a fun relationship with!!!
