LMAO! My neighbor wears them all the time. He does not work at a hospital, he just has them from times he was in the hospital. That’s what I’m thinking, wtf is this guy wearing scrubs for?! Is he trying to impress someone, thinking he’s a doctor or something? I don’t get it. I work at a hospital and can steal them for free, actually, I have some from Halloween one year, but I would never wear them except for costume or work purposes!

i really dont mind if they wear them and dont work in a medical facility. but personally i love them im a medical receptionist. oh and you dont just have to be in the medical field. my mothers is a cook and thats the dress code for her.

I’m an RN, so I get to wear them. They are a lot more comfortable that the starched white things we used to have to wear. Well, then all the ancillary departments took it upon themselves to start wearing scrubs so now you can’t tell a nurse from the cleaning lady.

I thought you were going to dis the show too, that’s why I rushed here, lol
I have worn them out once but I had a good excuse – Our local hospital had a float in the summer parade to raise money for the hospital but the day before they had some major emergency and couldn’t spare the staff to ride on it and collect money, so my friend who is an OR nurse (ODP) asked her friends to stand in – since we would be wearing scrubs and masks, no one would know we weren’t hospital employees. We got to keep them and used them as PJ’s afterwards.

When I read this question I thought you were talking about the show in which case I would have had to kill you (just joking). Ummm it doesn’t bother me that much personally, but I guess in a way that someone who works in a hospital could be bothered since scrubs are associated with hospitals and doctors and nurses would really only know how it feels to be in there all of the time. And just checking for the show, do they bring back more episodes on like March 17 before lost??

I have to admit they are comfy (I wore them when I worked for a Vet..had to…regular clothes would get ruined)…
However…I think seeing someone you KNOW is like an office manager in Wal-Mart wearing scrubs is ridiculous…
BUT….there are soooooo many more fashion faux paux’s that it’s low on the list (fat guys with t-shirts on that say "Sexy" and it doesn’t even cover their beer-gut…now THAT one is a topper!!! LOL)
