Going to school for ultrasound tech…Do I have to wear scrubs?
Discount Medical Scrubs
My sister had to wear scrubs to the college she went to, they made everyone who
was studying in the medical flied wear scrubs.
I'm not going to the same college as her, and she didn't major in ultrasound,
but I was just wondering if most schools for ultrasound make you wear them
or not?

Even if there isn’t a requirement, most students will have them anyway. Go with something cheap and basic like Cherokee Workwear: http://www.medicaldiscountscrubs.com/store/pc/Cherokee-Workwear-c43.htm
They are cheap and comfortable.

More than likely you will have to wear scrubs. its based on the school you go to, but you will definitely have to when you get your first job. Schools will usually require a specific colored scrub but they will give all the information on where and how to get the scrubs.

As a Sonography student, you will be going to class and clinical. At clinical you will absolutely have to wear scrubs – I know most people think ultrasound is free of blood and other bodily fluids but it isn’t. Your school may or may not have you wear your uniforms/scrubs to class as well. In my Sonography program, we wear our uniforms to both class and clinical.
