how to remove medical tape residue from your body…?

I had minor surgery a week ago and had reinforced my bandages with bandages tape... I just took the bandages off...and now I have the adhesive in weird patterns on my torso, and i scrubbed it with regular body wash and a loofah but it didn't help.....any suggestions?
I figured rubbing alcohol might work..... duhhhh.
grrrrr.. just checked. NO rubbing alcohol to be found :( and the oil didn't work, i just tried!!! thanks anyways guys !!

any other suggestions???

    Nail polish remover will likely work, but try a small spot first.

    Rubbing alcohol will take it right off. If you don’t have that, rub any kind of cooking oil on it, olive oil or corn oil.

    Use some rubbing alcohol

    There are probably better methods but rubbing with baby oil and then washing with soap and water worked for me.

    apply a little olive oil and try to rub off
