If Obama’s Health Care Plan Is Dead, Are The Gop’s Supporters More Happy Knowing…?
that they now have to continue to pay an obscene amount in health care premiums--and live with the dread of being *denied* coverage based on preexisting conditions?
How is this a good thing for them and the rest of us whom can't afford health care coverage?
Secondly--if the Democrats plan isn't palatable enough, how is the Republicans' plan any better--if all they want to do is protect the bottom lines of the health care industry while providing tax "loop" incentives for the said companies to take full advantage of?

The GOP is in the lap of the corporations. They are merely an apparatus to extend corporate influence in every way.
Whether it’s destroying healthcare, which would give Americans better coverage for less, courtesy of a public-option, or cutting regulations, or cutting corporate taxes etc. etc.
The GOP will be the death of America. 8 years of Bush already might have been the final nail in this country’s coffin as the rest of the world slowly overtakes it.

Not happy, but what about tort reform? it wasn’t on the table. How about more competition between insurance companies available to the consumer? This should be negotiated by both parties for the betterment of you and I. Tax dollars should not fund abortions. Liability insurance costs doctors on the order of a half a million dollars annually, outrageous cost that’s added. This reform bill was suppose to provide insurance for those that didn’t have it. Somehow it was going to be mandated. Why would another government mandate be palatable to someone who is sick of big government?

What is the definition of reform. The Obama version is not even remotely reform.
Not even close to anything reform remotely stands for. This is nothing more than
an attempt to take over 1/6th of this Nations economy, Your side can’t even give
an accurate number of those alledgedly needing health care or coverage, So please
take your bleeding heart to a ER near you.
Now TORT reform. good place to start,
Allow companies to sell insurance across state lines.(creates competition)
Investigate, prosecute violators of the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
These three things alone, would more than pay for the coverage of all who
needed it.,Not just a few,

The plan is not dead. This little dog and pony show is nothing more than to stall the rising anger of the people. It’s brimming. As for protecting the bottom lines of big pharma and insurance, it would appear to me that Obama is doing the same exact thing. Only he has looped in lawyers and unions to boot! Try to convince yourself otherwise, but you are looking at a ONE party system going on right now. The only difference between the tenured and top dogs in each party is what they are trying to destroy first. The priorities are different, the end result the same. Wake up.

Maybe if the Congress and Senate would listen to what the majority of the people want then we would all find a solution, as the one in the link below. it does not raise taxes and is a much healthier alternative. Meaning the Democrats plan IS expensive , and restricting.
I don’t want health care the Dems planned, see the linkshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcBaSP31B…

kid that was NOT the priority and the reason Obama got elected to beging with…
the people wanted the economy to be revived FIRST..! never mind health care or any other ideological crap he wanted done…jobs jobs jobs!! and not so much letist crap!
the thing is Clinton “got it” in 94 when the republicans took congress back and went to the center and started to LISTEN to the people…
as for you and Obama I don’t think you guys are!!!!
oh well, if you don’t November is going to be bloody for your kind and Obama..!

The whole problem with our health care is it’s pulling in too many illegal aliens. All those Canadians, Swedes. French, Germans, just pouring in to get our health insurance. No, but wait…. that’s Disneyland; never mind.
January 30th, 2010 at 9:45 pm
If we added 30 million more and made them take existing cases we would be paying a lot more!
Simple math…
Edit: Health and insurance industry stocks dropped when 0bama lost his seat ! Explain that…

They LOVE the fact that they screwed the entire US population while not proposing a single piece of legislation the entire year.
January 31st, 2010 at 6:12 am
Because his plan would do nothing for either of those and would increase my taxes
I am so happy that it has died
Tort reform in texas has shown promise in lowering costs

If you think you’ll get a better deal with the government you’re deluded. I’d rather trust private industry where I have freedom to choose than one which can legislate my actions and leave me no other choice.
January 31st, 2010 at 7:57 am
Yep, as long as their taxes don’t go up. Their plan? **** in one hand and wish in the other and see which fills up the fastest.

So “the government” is the answer? See my avatar!

GOP supporters would be happier and MUCH better off with GOP health care plans for sure!

most republicans answer to a higher power, god. that’s why they don’t want to help the poor and sick.

Like literally EVERYONE who supports the Democrats plan, you are evidently unaware of a fact relating to it.
According to Congressional Democrats, their plan will cost you AT LEAST $3,000 a year more than you’re paying now.
I don’t know anyone who’s been denied coverage for a pre-existing condition and neither do you. – They just had to wait-out a suspense period during which it was still LEGAL for them to explore other avenues to get care. Under the Democrats’ plan, you will face criminal sanctions for attempting to get care outside the system – again, according to Congressional Democrats.
Also, Congressional Democrats agree that we used to have a “system” where you went to the doctor of YOUR choice at will, paid him and COULD AFFORD it. The Republican plan is to make that system legal again but ALL Democrats oppose allowing that – and why not, since it was through THEIR DEMANDS that this system was eliminated in the first place.
Don’t take MY word for it – take the Democrats’ word. They refuse to allow THEIR OWN bill to go forward unless they are exempted from it.
Further, they WILL NOT allow it to come to a vote unless:
> They find a way to blame Republicans for it. or
> They can get it done without ANYONE – even DEMOCRAT members of Congress – being able to see what’s in the bill.
What this proves beyond honest debate is one of the following:
> Congressional Democrats are LITERALLY insane.
> They KNOW this bill is so bad they’d be lined-up against the wall if we saw it.

this bill is all about controlling our lives, I mean why would Obama keep pushing for this bill if it wasn’t about controlling our lives and try to push this bill with every power he has? if he was really passionate about health care reform he would listen to the people, listen to the republicans, and take the consequences seriously and try to find a balance. dose our health care system needs fixing? yes. dose anybody want to be denied of coverage? no. dose anybody want government run health care? no! dose anybody want the government to dictate how they should live their lives? no. dose anybody want to be told what to do by the government? no! so why is Obama pushing so hard for this bill with all of the backroom deals he made and shut all republicans out if it wasn’t about controlling our lives? that part makes no sense to me, there for it makes sense if it was about dictating our lives which chances are, its about controlling our lives and dictating our lives against our will. he treats us like children who don’t know better. Clinton didn’t treat us like children who didn’t know better, he treated us like the American people. we do know better and we are trying to tell Washington we do know better. that’s why we have tea parties and peaceful protests, but Obama treats us like radical people just because we are practicing our constitutional right and voicing our concern and questioning his motives. its not unAmerican to question your government. its unAmerican to have government to take away your constitutional rights and treat you like a property of the government and government is all powerful

Some are. As they claim there is no problem with the system. Others want reform. And the GOP has ideas for reform. But these ideas have never been shown to work elsewhere, unlike the plans that Obama had which were based on what worked elsewhere both to lower costs and improve health outcomes.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-usmvYOPf… http://www.gop.gov/solutions/healthcare
FACT – Insurance companies in the USA admit to pushing up prices, buying politicians and not paying out claims when they should [1]
FACT – PER PERSON the USA spends more on healthcare than any other nation on the planet [2]
FACT – Obama debated his plans before the election for healthcare [3]
FACT – the chance of a child under five of dying in the USA is greater than industrialised nations with universal health coverage [4]
FACT – Obama was elected by the American people to bring in change [5]
FACT – Obama wants to stop insurance companies from screwing America [6]
FACT – The reforms Obama wants work in the Netherlands and Switzerland [7]
Let me know if my facts are wrong, but please provide proof.
