yep you can i work with people who were exposed to TB as children considered positive mantoux reactors so they get a chest xray every year to make sure they do not have active TB a friend of mine never tested positive then after years of working all of sudden tested positive on skin test did the therapy for TB and still works as a nurse she is what is called a converter

If the TB has fully cleared up you can have a career in the medical fields. Everyone in the medical field has a TB test every year ( some places 2 years.) If the TB has become active again you will be notified and must take a leave of absence until it is cleared up.
