Is it unprofessional to wear scrubs to an interview?
Discount Medical Scrubs
A good friend of mine are a stand still on this subject, we are both in a nursing program, and she has and interview Friday. She wants to head straight from school to her interview, but I am not sure that it will make a good impression. Is it unprofessional, does it even matter?
O and the job has nothing to do with the medical field

If it has nothing to do with the nursing profession, then she needs to wear something more appropriate.

Unless the job is medical (and you have said it is not) AND she has pre-warned the interviewer that she must come straight from work, then it’s inappropriate.

Yes, it is extremely unprofessional. If I were the interviewer, I would cut the interview short and show her the door.

If she doesn’t have time to change, the FIRST thing she should do when she walks in the door for the interview is to apologize for wearing them and explain why.
Or see if she can get out of school a few mins early?
