It's this girl I know from elementry school. We are grown now but every chace she get she tells me I look just?

like my mother. I heard my mom is pretty(by alot of ppl) and the girl that tells me I look like my mom always picked on me in school, talked real bad about me. she remember my mom more than me. Reason I said that she remember my mom wearing scrubs, my mother was a medical assistance and this girl want to be a nurse. How do she remember so much of my mother and when she says I look like my mom I think she want me to get upset, but I say I know I heard it all my life. she switch it up and say I just remember your mother hollering at you. Now my mother was mommie dearest she never holler at me in front of others, I dont remember.
Anyway what is up with that girl why does she say that and what point is she's trying to proof or make. It's like she remember the color of her scrub and everything, I just was thinking wow this was along time ago.

you’d be surprised what we remember or who touched our lives- sounds like she admired your mom & when she says you look like your mom say yes i do i’ve been blessed that way–now when the comment comes out about your mom hollering @ you say no dear you are so sadly mistaken my mom was a lady she would have never raised her voice @ me especially not in front of you !! & then walk off simple sweet & to the point w/out being nasty- but don’t be upset that she remembers the person that influenced her to become a nurse-feel honored that she was YOUR mother & her mentor maybe ?

and what, you’re (still) trying to get this girl’s approval or validation that you are cool? If you think she’s trying to rattle you..smile when she says you look like your mom and say that you KNOW how lucky you are to have had such a cool, beautiful and SMART mom that was/is a nurse! Then ask her what her mom does..
Maybe you are tempted to care about what this girl says to you, but resist that temptation. She’s just like a stanger, no better, no worse..why is her opinion more important? it’s YOU that gives her that power..she’s just a little soul among us, with good and bad traits.
