Lately I have noticed some acne build up on my face?
Discount Medical Scrubs
I am 35 years old and after my teen years never had a problem with acne until recently (a minor one). For the past two years I lived in Thailand which has a drastically different climate than Northern California. I just moved back to CA 3 weeks ago. I am wondering if the change in climate has anything to do with it? or does it have anything to do with me getting older?
Also, I would appreciate it if you can advise me on a treatment (medication or a scrub to use??)
I would be interested in hearing from a medical professional.
Thanks.

I am 37 years old and am going through the same thing. This is what worked for me:
-I purchased a blackhead/pimple extractor. (It keeps you from squeezing on your face, and you can open up and remove the pimples soon. My daughter’s dermatologist says that these are great. The best one that I’ve found was made my Revlon)
-Started washing my face with Johnson & Johnson Purpose soap.(My daughter had many samples that she didn’t use from her dermatologist. I went through them all, and I found this one was the best for me. You can purchase it at any supermarket or drugstore.
-After washing twice a day, follow each washing with a cold water rinse.
-Follow up the rinses with a Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Moisture with SPF 15.
I hope this works for you. I took my 13 year old to her Dermatologist this past Thursday, while there I told him about what was going on with me and the steps that I was taking. He said my skin looked good. (he should have seen it about 6 weeks ago!!) Try this. It took me about 1-2 weeks to clear up and I have not had a flare up since. You have to be consistent about keeping your skin clean. If this doesn’t work, you just might have an acne infection requiring antibiotics. – or maybe rosacea which is a rash mixed with pimples, redness, and some broken veins.
(This tends to begin in your late 30′s)

It could be ur pores. my last job had a plastics mfg area where lots of little resin particulates would get into my pores and cause me to break out when i had not had any major problems before. Im talking like a couple hours after I left the area, I would get this monster zit. I noticed when I was in Bangkok that they have very polluted air, so u may have gotten dirt and particulates built up in ur skin.
Try a cleansing wash, like clean and clear pore scrubbing something something. Its a white cream with large granules in it to take off any dead skin on the top layer, then use an astringent like pore cleanser to get the dirt out. finally, use a topical cream to try and treat any u might have.
Or u could try Proactive. That has all three steps in one package.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at the link provided.
