Medical/Dental question, help please! Is this a cold sore on my gum or something more serious? Pic inside.?

Discount Medical Scrubs

I think it's like a canker sore but I'm not too sure. I don't know if you can get them on your gums.

If you know what your talking about, help me out cause it hurts! Also what should I do? I've been scrubbing it with my toothbrush to make it bleed then rinsing with listerine but it hurts sooo much!!!

Is there anything i can do? Do I have to go to a doctor/dentist?

    Oh my gosh! That’s the worst canker sore I have ever seen! But it IS just a canker sore. The reason it’s not getting better is because you’re scrubbing it!!!!!! What are you doing!!!!! Do NOT scrub it any more! Rinsing with listerine is fine but avoid any type of extra irritation to that area(no touching etc.) Avoid any salty/acidic food for the next few days and stop brushing it(did I mention stop brushing it?) Try using ambisol (at any grocery store) which will numb it and make it easier for you to stop figiting with! If it doesn’t start getting better in a couple days then call your doc…there IS medicine you can get for it. Good luck, OUCH!
