'scrubs' and 'house's' reliability?

Discount Medical Scrubs

I'm a massive fan of scrubs and house, but was wondering whether the medical things that they say, and procedures that they do, are real. Is it ok to take the medical statements that make for fact??

    My aunt, being a nurse, hates House ssssssooooooooo much. She says things like that NEVER happen.

    Scrubs is one of my favorite shows and I think they can pull that stuff of because the show is not soley based upon the crazy medical stuff and its more down to earth. Also, the nurses do most of the work, which is entirely true. Have you EVER seen a nurse on House? Nope.

    But for house they ask a doctor or nurse to think of a crazy disease, they come up with is and then the tv mind run with it.

    in the end they’re not reliable

    I’m a nurse who has worked in an acute hospital for 30 years and sometimes laugh at the things the characters say. Under no circumstance should you assume that what a television show says be taken as gospel. The writers are going for a laugh or tears. It’s seldom reality.
