yeah, there are TONS of grants & scholarships available on line. most are found at single parents sites and even corporations offer them. Some help with school, some allow you pay your bills.
1) contact your local county college and ask for financial aid department. they have some that will help
2) contact your local hospitals (in your county or nearby counties) and ask ‘what department can i talk to who may have information on nursing help; grants scholarships.
3) contact your state nursing (or medical) board. they have a list of ones available.
4) go to fastweb (link is below) and take the time to fill out the info. they get back to you about scholarships/grants they have on their data base.
5) go to single mom sites and look for a links page. sometimes its also in grants page.
6) do a google search for ‘single mom scholarships’ ‘single mom nurse’ etc.
i know this is a large list of links, but take your time and pick through them. you will find more grants and scholarships if you do. there is also a child support calculator online, and custody/child support info at these divorce sites (just click on your state then the section you want).
Now, you have a lot of phone calls to make…
Stay strong… you can do it!!!

talk to your college, the financial aid dept or registrar will have all available scholarships. Also choose a mom friendly college that has on site child care if possible.
