What are some jobs I can get during and after the first semester of nursing school?

I'm going to be in the nursing program starting in January of 2011. It's a two year program so I will become a RN. I was wondering what kind of jobs I can get during my first semester of nursing school. Do hospitals hire nursing students in the NJ area?
