Scrubs is funny, the rest I could do without. E.R. has worn out it’s welcome.

They are popular now. As long as they are making money they will make new shows.

    No different than:
    Forensic Files

    City Confidential

CSI – And they popped up because the others are so popular

In my opinion Grey’s Anatomy and E.R. take the cake in medical T.V. shows. Before I knew of the existence of E.R. and before Grey’s Anatomy was produced I wanted to be a physician.

Well Grey’s Anatomy is a night time soap opera. It just always takes place in a hospital.

House is somewhat of a soap opera but it is more medical.

E.R. I do agree needs to go away and reruns need to start that show has been on forever. ( do people still watcth that?)

Nip Tuck is really the "plastic" side to everything cause they do more plastic surgery which i think that show is a smart one because lets face it, it makes good t.v.

Scrubs is a funny soap opera that has no medical take to me at all.

I guess it’s like legal shows and forensic shows…you can never have too many. I tried Grey’s Anatomy but am an ER fan forever.

The idea of being a doctor is really romanticized. The TV shows show all the fun parts; analyzing a case, doing surgery, saving lives, making lots and lots of money, and having romantic flings all over the hospitals. In real life, I’m sure being a doctor is hardly as glamorous. Also, doctors are interesting. They’ve spent all their lives basically studying to do what they do.

Personally, I have a major addiction to House, and I also watch the show Scrubs when I’m bored. For awhile I wanted to be a doctor myself while watching House, but after some thorough researching, I realized that med school alone takes too much sweat and money for me to really enjoy it.
