Listen to some calming music. You’ll be fine! DON’T DON’T DON’T look when they draw the blood. It’ll make you way more nervous. I had my blood drawn for the first time last year, it honestly barely hurt. I don’t even think I felt when they put the needle in. I was like, "Oh, that’s it?" Don’t worry, you’ll be fine!

Holy cow, calm down. You sound like you’re going to the electric chair; you’re only getting blood drawn.
It only takes seconds to do and it just stings a bit when they do it. You don’t get to decide what size needle you want them to use, so I don’t know what you are talking about with that whole thing. Why would you be afraid of people in scrubs? If you need several people to hold you down just to draw blood, you need to look into some counseling also.
    Calm down. This is simple.

I was really scared when i got blood drawn, too. It’s all in your head though. It doesn’t hurt AT ALL. If you close your eyes and just let the nurse do her thing, you probably won’t even notice when she pricks you. And i believe the needle is very small. Good luck! : )
