Can you still get into nursing school with a restraining order?

I am about to apply for the nursing program at my college and my ex has a restraining order against me. Will that affect my chances to getting into nursing school? Does anyone know?

    Legally it should not, however you need to be upfront with the Dean of Nursing. That is something that would come up when they do a standard background check and you better have a reasonable explaination.

    Let’s put it this way – I would not want a Nurse that warranted a TRO taking care of me. Obviously she is unable to control herself.
