Could I go from nursing school to medical school?
Discount Medical Scrubs
If I went to nursing school and became a nurse practitioner, would it be easier for Me to be accepted into medical school that way? What all would I need, meaning pre requisites, to apply to medical school from completing My NP license from nursing school? My GPA isn't the greatest in the world so I know I would not be top pick when applying for medical school after I complete this semester.

Without writing a lengthy explanation, just let if suffice that if a MD is your ultimate objective, anything else is a waste of time and money.
If your GPA is low, repeat the courses. You won’t be the first or the last to do so. If being a MD means anything to you, dig for it. If you aren’t willing to do it now, better you find out now than later.

NP would take you about 8 years to complete. 4 years for your degree, at least 2 years of experience and then the NP program. Some places even require your Masters in nursing before the NP program. Being a medical doctor is a different profession so any education as an NP would not be counted towards medical school. If your GPA is not good you would struggle to become an NP.
