Yes, I know this isn't directly election related, except if you wonder how well this fits the mindset of the "typical" Obama supporter.
Oh, this is NOT my letter, one I received from an LAPD friend. Just food for thought.

That letter in itself is not prejudiced. Tying it to Obama can easily be perceived that way.
And just some food for thought, when things like this happen people really are at their worst. I don’t condone any of that and thoroughly agree our country in alot of ways is going to pot. However, we have to give some extra grace in dealing with these attitudes as they believed their homes were being washed away or even looted at the time.
Good luck in your decision on whether or not to do it again. I think its awesome you took time to volunteer. Maybe you can find another venue to volunteer at to still feel fulfilled but not disappointed.
Take care!

I really fail to understand how that relates to absolutely anything about Obama. Hurricane response is probably not something a GOP supporter wants to be bragging about anyway.

Amazing, because of a few people you want to punish everyone. Wow, so Republican of you. I hope that you never have to need help, or if you do you remember all those things you should have, and you leave your cell phone!

Who does not want freebies?
Politicians get them all the time.

And what does any thing you wrote have to do with Obama or Mccain.
am I missing a point you are trying to make, if you are a nurse, it is not your concern to question the needs of people or their ability to pay for services you are being paid to provide even that you volunteered this time it was your choice, go home, I think you have issues and I would not want you to help me because you are not doing it from the heart and you don’t get a pat on the back from me, and your wording suggests to me these people are of a different color then you and maybe you have a problem with that too.
