I need help with lower back patches for pain. Has anyone figured out how to get them to stick better?

I am attempting to use a medial patch called Flector (NSAIDs like Celebrex), my doctor prescribed me, on the upper part of my lower back. I am having a really hard time getting the patch to stick to my skin. I have the same issue with the OTC heat patches and another lidocaine patch I used before, so I know it's not the product, but my skin. I really would like to get it to work.
Over the course of several days and on different days (so that one idea would not effect the other), I have tried cleaning my back with soap and water, medical soap (soap wash I had to use the morning before my back surgery), alcohol and acetone (main ingredient in nail polish remover). I tried dusting it with baby power a few hours before and scrubbing it with a dish scrubber trying to remove dead skin. Nothing has worked. It just wont say attached to my skin. I taped the corners with medical tape so it will stay on, but the patch dose not stick anywhere else unless I put pressure directly on it all the time. Otherwise I don't get the medication to my back, so I have been forced to only use it in the bed when I'm laying on it. I know patch the works, since it help while I'm in bed and during the morning, so I really want to use this product. Any advice?

I have the same problem, what I do is use and ace bandage and lightly wrap it around my torso where the patch is. It works as a protective barrier and keeps it pressed against your skin. Either that or you could get some medical tape the GOOD kind and stick it on the edges to help keep it in place.
