Job interview question?
Discount Medical Scrubs
I am a recent graduate of a medical assistant program and I have never been on an interview. Well i have one today and was wondering if it would be bad if I wore my scrubs to the interview. Its for a pediatric dermatologist.

Well
I think the most important thing to remember is to dress according to the job you are going for.
Eg. You wouldnt go dressed in a suit for a factory position
perhaps if its a professional job but not high office
a clean pair of pants or skirt and shirt would be sufficient.
Good luck with your interview and do some research on the company before you go as they always ask you if you know something about them…

Yes that would be bad – you are being interviewed to see if you can think, not do! Especially pediatrics, you treat the patient, but you deal with the parents…..
best of luck, look sharp! wear a bowtie, drs love that. so do kids. if you have a choice of glasses or contacts, wear the glasses….

It would be a very good idea to dress appropriately for your interview. If you go in wearing scrubs, the interviewer will get the impression that you didn’t think the interview is important enough to dress up for. By being professional about everything even if it is an interview with a small company will say a lot about your work ethic. It will leave a good impression on your potential employers.

Dress professionally regardless what field you are in with your resume with your hand, and a copy of your qualifications. Good luck.
