he was training for a marathon. He's on med's now, but is still doing his training. Can something serious happen on his 18 mile training saturday morning? He had blood in his stool, which is why he went to the doctor initially.

Why don't you pull out your Med-Surg text book and research the answer... Just like I had to do when I was in Nursing School... If people just give you the answer then you will NEVER learn anything. You've got to research and absorb the material!!!!!! Remember, you are not an RN until you pass the NCLEX!!! You'll have to study hardcore to pass it... it's not easy... Good Luck... now hit the books

I was not satisfied with McCain and Palin's speech. They did not mention anything about improving economy, job security and creating, and health care.

Question About Residency While Training To Become A Doctor?

I am planning pursuing a career as a surgeon when I graduate from high school. I know that I need 4 years of college, then 4 years of medical school, and then 5-7 years of residency. My question is if you are a general doctor during those years of residency since you work in a hospital? Supposedly you are still studying for your goal to become a surgeon, but during those residency years, do you help people, examine them, run tests, etc. as a doctor?
