I am going to A community college for two years to complete my general courses . Do I apply to nursing school after those two years? And if I want to be a nurse practitioner do I have to stop and take some time and work as an RN after the four years?

I've just started college a few weeks ago and i'm in the nursing program at ECU. They've given us the basic layout of what classes we should take for the next 4 years. I know there are a few years of school after that. How many years does a nursing major usually spend in school?

Is it worth it to go to Johns Hopkins University to become a nurse? (Tuition is ,000 approx.)
Does it matter if one goes to a prestigious school like JHU or a not-so-great state school (for incredibly cheap) in the long run for nursing?

I'm getting ready to become a nursing major and I've been told that i would have to fill out a nursing packet after passing my exam. I'm just curious what do nursing school packets consent of? What health requirements must I have in order to be in the program...I have health issues such as diabetis but its under control....Do you have to be in perfect health in order to get into a nursing program?

Nursing school?
I am applying to nursing school in the pittsburgh area. i want to do a diploma program at a hospital. i already have my bachelor's in psychology. will this make it any easier to get in? My overall undergrad GPA was 3.07 and I got mostly A's in all my science courses the last two years.
