Ok so this is a long and very weird dream. I'll try to be breif but say all the details I feel were important.
Im in a hospital. It seems as if i needed medical supplies for my family or something I'm not really sure, but I was there to steal supplies. I even put a scrub on so I wouldn't be spotted by nurses or doctors.
All of a sudden I end up somewhere with my husband ( who is a maintenance guy) and we r in front of a landlord/super and my hubby has to do a test in order to work with him. The test consisted of him having to unscrew a screw that was on the ground. The super tells his son to get the piece necessary to do the job and when he does my husband turns and turns but can't do it. I knew something was wrong

After that I find myself back at the hospital trying to leave and getting on an elevator. There's a big explosion and all the lights turn off. Elevator isn't moving and it's pitch black. I'm stuck in there with other people also. Finally it starts moving but slowly. Then it goes faster and faster. We were all going to die and being lifted off of the ground by how fast it was going down. I said to myself I know this is a dream and I have to wake up now. Right then I woke up,my heart was pounding. I went back to sleep and it's like I was in the same dream again. I was outside of the hospital with my brother. We were frantically looking for our mother in a huge crowd after the explosion. We heard a scream and a crash and we looked at each other. He said omg that was mom I know it. I told him shut up and ran to the body that flew out of one if the windows of the hospital. The bodies face was covered in debris but had a white simple dress. In my head I knew it was a wedding dress for some reason. I cleared her face and asked who did that to her. She showed me a vision of someone throwing her out the window. I go back to the hospital. Next i'm back with my hubby and I asked the supers son why he gave him the wrong piece. He just laughs and I wake up.

My close friend is also my housemate. We're both in medical school, just starting out our 3rd year, which means we've started our clinical years and have to go to the hospital and clerk cases. The more cases, the more experience we get and hopefully, the better we'll be.

I've noticed that whenever my friend goes to the hospital to clerk a case, she doesn't invite me. I invite her whenever I go, but she doesn't invite me. If I get a chance to follow a senior or get a senior to teach me, I invite her. She got a chance to scrub in and watch a surgery (a chance I would have killed for since I'm interested in surgery) and she never said a word. Not even after.

I just want an opinion on whether I should keep inviting her to go to the hospital with me to clerk cases when she clearly never invites me to go to the hospital with her? Should I keep helping her get more experience when I have way less experience than her?

Should I keep being the bigger person here and just keep inviting her in the hopes that she'll also invite me someday? Do unto others as you want others to so unto you? Or just stop inviting and helping her because it's clear she's not going to help me?

I've heard everything from "most get in because of extreme nursing shortages" to "only about 35% of people get in." In the US what percentage of people get accepted to nursing school? I'd really like to know, thanks!

I just finished my first semester of nursing school and I feel very overwhelmed with everything that has gone on. I used to get all A's in my classes however now I am getting all low B's and C's. There is so much information to know and I cant seem to retain all of it. The instructors and nurses are very mean and not helpful in any way. Is this a normal feeling? Is nursing still for me? I'm not quite sure if I can make it through the next 5 semesters....

Hi I am a white 32yr old guy 6'00", 170 lbs.
When I turned 17 I suffered my first spontaneous pnumothorax and since then have had a further 8 more. I was told that I was born with blisters on my lungs and its very common in young 16-28yr old thin white males... After the 4th on on my left lung a pulmonologist went in surgically through my back via a 16" incision and removed 2 ribs to scrub the lung to get rid of any remaming blisters. Since that surgery its been fine, but I since started having issues with my right lung. It collapsed three times and they went in with a scope on Aug 2010 and put a talc powder around the lung to cause scaring and to keep the lung from collapsing. Well 2 weeks ago it collapsed again. It was a SMALL collapse, no chest tube needed, just 48 hours of observation and pure oxygen.. I am wondering 1) what are the chance of this happening again, 2) If another big one DOES happen what can be done about it. 3) If I have problems later in life with my lungs or heart and needed a by-pass, or a pransplant of either.. with all the scaring in my chest, how is that going to affect it? Now after the surgery is when the I thought about the questions, and its too late to opt out now. Yet Im tired of dealing with the collapses... What would your suggestions be, or can I ask my doctor should it happen again?

My skin tone is brown (I'm mixed Argentine/Dominican) but my face seems to be darker than that of my chest, arms and legs.

I don't get that much sun really partly because I am always at work in an office for more than 80 hours a week. However, my face is dark, dull and I wanted to know if there is a way to reduce this look. I do use this http://www.menscience.com/Microfine-Face-Scrub_p_4-10.html as my face wash every day

So, why is my face still dark eventhough I use exfoliation, I am hardly in the sun and I have no medical problems what so ever?

Is that product going to help "lighten" me and if so, how many times should I use it a week?

Also, is i possible that too much exfoliation has caused my skin to get dark? I heard of this whole friction thing. Any tips would be nice. It's just that in a family photo I look adopted. jk

Well today I had to go in for an observation in a doc. office for a MA job and it was between me and this other girl who in the end decided on hiring her . Well we both dont have degrees.. it was just general work for a doctor. But I just feel horrible because they picked her over me. I am going to school for radiology and they did x-rays on ppl's feet and stuff. The other girl was a pre-med student and had had a little experience "watching" surgeries in high school in a program they had. I just dont think that it was really fair. They told me that they hired her because she had more medical experience than me. I wore scrubs and everything, I was early to get there and the other girl was late. I just dont understand. Do you REALLY think that things happen for a reason and that maybe that job really wasn't for me and wouldn't have worked out?

My boyfriend and I are removing the carpet in our basement due to cat accidents and I'm not sure what I should use to scrub the floor after we tear the carpet out. I've read that it shouldn't be ammonia based. Any suggestions? I'm looking to not only clean the area, but remove the odor as well.

Also, any tips on how to break him of this nasty habit? If he doesn't stop we will have to give him up and I really don't want to do that. He's my baby! I am going to take him to a vet to make sure it isn't a medical problem and WHEN he gets a clean bill of health I'm going to buy a new litter box and seclude him for 2 weeks so he knows that he has to use this litter box and not the carpet (was told by a vet to do this). It should be noted that we have another male cat (both are fixed) and I was told that they generally don't like sharing litter boxes. We already have two separate ones in use, but he still prefers to pee on the carpet!

Also, the room is not well ventilated.

Medical History:I was hospitalized after an attempted Scuicide in November. I was diagnosed December 1st, 2005 with Severe Clinical Depression. I have also been diagnosed with minimal cases of Attention Deficit Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Sorry, I just thought I should state that. About two months ago, they once again, added to my medication, and everything was going well, until the last few days. They put me on the new medication, because of my weight. I gained an exponential amount of weight from my original medication. I hated how I looked, and hated my apperence, making me depressed. Vicious circle. My depression has went to tolerable, to untolerable. I have always felt inadiquite at everything, and a burden. I was never close to my mother, and when my father died(part of depression cause) she ignored me outright. I gave up trying in school, and I pass the classes, if only barely. I honestly passed most of my classes with a 66, or slightly higher. The highest waa seventy six. My mother has been getting increasingly.. I can't find a word to put it. Everything I do is never enough. She went from quitting her job, going to school full time, to starting a job, and my life is now housework.I do not get to see my friends, nor do much of anything. My life is me, and my dog... Who has extreme separation anxiety, and destroys things when I'm not home. He's a husky, its a trait he has. I am only sixteen, and yet I have a list of things I must do for the summer.
I have to vacuum, mop, mow the lawns, cook the dinners, make the grocery list, vacuum the pool, both of our laundry, fix the hot tub, clean out the gutters, Clean the grill, Look for a job within walking distance that higher sixteen year olds so I don't put anyone out, dust, fix the wiring, Scrub the bathroom, power wash the siding, paint the doors, fix the screens, clean out the attic and basement, look for a driving instructor after getting a job, Look for dog trainer, also after gettting a job, and wash the boat.

The boat was the one thing my father left solely to me, and as such, when it needed new wiring, my mother refused to pay for it.

I've gotten to the point I can't even deal with my panic attacks, they wipe me out to much. My mother acts like I'm the worst person in the world... I don't drink, drugs.. nothing.

I need to find some way to deal with this, or I think I'll go back into my old ways of cutting, and worse. Help?
