I am interested in possibly studying to become a nurse, but I’m a little hesitant about the schooling. Do you have to work on a dead body, because I don’t think I could do that. I know, I know and I want to be in the medical field????

My father has become a danger to himself and possibly to others. However, he is a brilliant sociopath and he is able to convince the police every time that he is ok. He has also been able to convince hospital staff that he was fine – even tho he wasnt.
I want to have him commited, but he refuses to go.
what do I need to do to convince the authorities that he needs help?

I have to take NCLEX in pretty soon and I don’t know how to put together all that mass of info I have studied while in the school.

To make a long sad story short, i have a lift machine, a standing machine, and a wheelchair with battery powered wheels. I dont want to just throw them away, i want to donate them so that some one else can better from their use. Any suggestions on who i should call or what i should do?

Perhaps because health insurance companies seem to only care about profit and stockholders instead of providing financial support to their consumer through physician directed procedures……perhaps we do need the government to place guidelines on what is allowable for insurance companies and doctors and hospitals.
Hey….I am just one person and I don’t have the knowledge of every detail of every subject facing Americans today!
But there should be people who are educated in the Health care field who can conference and come up with ways to level the health care industry for both the Insurance companies and the consumer and the doctors and hospitals!!

I just got a job at a hospital. I did it to get a little closer to my goal of being more than a nurse aid or tech. I am excited about going to nursing school, but I realize it’s very hard. I don’t want to mess this opportunity up.

Thinking about changing career paths, intrested in nursing. What skills must I have to be accepted into a nursing program.
