Insurance Industry Assault On Health Care Reform?

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

Whose side are you on ?….Insurance vs. Americahttp://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091012/ap_o…
If big Insuracne is against it, and they are creating phony reports to assert things that aren’t true,.. doesn’t that help reinforce which side you should be on ?
They’ve changed from trying to influence the health care reform, to trying to derail it altogether. Apparently there weren’t enough “freebies” in it for them to loosen their tentacle grip on congress.

Health Care: Why Are The Cons Against Regulations To Curb Abuses By The Insurance Industry ?

Friday, February 19th, 2010

Because of the insurance agencies campaign contributions! If we want good government we need to get rid of massive campaign donations by lobbyists.

Is Health Care; A) Product, B) Service Industry, Or C) Inalienable Right?

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

Everyone on the Right is always saying “Let the Free Market decide”. Well how would one define Health Care?
It isn’t really a product unless you look at medication. It’s more of a Service Industry, like House Cleaning as it’s purpose is Maintaining ones health.
But, what about “We the People” blah blah blah, Life, LIberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness!
Seems to me that you can’t have “Life”, if you don’t have “Health”.
And one must be Healthy in order to Pursue Happiness!
Also, doesn’t employers want a healthy work force?

Health Care Is The Only Consistently Growing Industry In America. Why This Situation Exist?

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

You could cite many reasons…
some that haven’t been mentioned yet is just the basic culture of an American. We are a lot less active, we eat more processed foods, and we search for the cure and not the prevention.
It all adds up to good industry.

Would More Americans Be Able To Afford Health Care If The Medical Industry Did Not Spend Billions On Bribes?

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

disguised as campaign contributions to let HMOs and the rest of the Medical Industry defraud and overcharge US citizens to make a fast profit?

What Industry Does Obama Want To Take Over Next?

Friday, February 5th, 2010

He has already taken over banks, insurance companies, and the automobile industry, and talked about taking over the health care industry, what will be next. How long do we have until private property and private business becomes illegal.

How Long Can The Healthcare Industry Sustain The Fledging Us Economy?

Monday, February 1st, 2010

According to yahoo news the healthcare industry is the only sector in the economy which is seeing sustained job growth and increased wages. This can’t possibly last forever. Will the health care industry get Walmartized meaning they’ll eventually have a glut of people and start paying everyone $8.00 an hour like all the other industries are trying to do?

The Insurance And Health Industry Will Fight President Obama’s Healthcare Reforms With Everything They Have.?

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

Do you think that part of the president’s plan includes a way to fight the propaganda that the insurance industry will undoubtedly present to the public.
Remember “Harry and Louise” from the days of the Clinton’s proposed health care reform. Do you think that the Obama administration are preparing a way to fight them if they suddenly make a comeback.
Otherwise, the insurers and health care companies will scare the public from the change they asked for.

Why Do Most People In Michigan Think Health Care Is A Stable Industry For A Career?

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

Every factory worker that has been laid off says they will go back to school and become a medical assistant or nurse. Even worse, these people actually do get hired.
But for how much longer? When the inevitable cutbacks come to this delusional industry that bankrupts people for routine visits, all these people can kiss their jobs goodbye. If you think American health care can never be as slow, bad and inefficient as you claim Canada and Europe’s are, think again. They’ve been fiscally responsible; we haven’t.
When hospitals are forced to make the inevitable cutbacks, you will see the economy turn for the worse. I just wish more people would realize this before it’s too late, but then again, the government probably already does. They just don’t want to let people on to it yet, but it’s inevitable.
What a shame, that people in this state are so stupid. You can’t all leave your jobs in factories and work in hospitals. It doesn’t work, economically. Delphi, GM and Ford bring outside money into Michigan, hospitals don’t!

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

Good point.
I’d also like to include all the advertising they do to sell us drugs. The cost of that is huge!

  • Keys to Successful Medical Practice Design
There has been a quite significant change in thinking and approach over the last couple of decades when it comes to our attitudes to the professions. There was a time when a solicitor was engaged without any cost query and then sent his account once the work had been completed. It was not regarded as appropriate to ask him to quote for the work in advance an […]
  • As Long As Someone Else Pays For It
Health care is an issue; for, against, reform, satisfied, best in the world, inadequate, too expensive. All of these words being used as if there was one answer. We talk about 85% of the Americans have health insurance (to hell with the other 15%, which is actually greater) and of these 85% are "satisfied" with their insurance; as long as someone e […]
  • Getting Your Message Out in the Healthcare Marketplace
One of a medical practice or hospitals biggest challenges stems from the surplus of providers in most communities in the USA. Most physicians' practices and even hospitals earn revenues that depend on the numbers of patients they take care of. And the competition for the health care dollar is fiercer than ever! A contemporary trend is to establish a phy […]

The system of healthcare in Australia is a nationally determined but locally executed system. The funds are sourced from tax levies imposed on the working population. The system is called Medicare with a component for medication called the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. These systems together with private insurance coverage provide for low overall medical c […]
