If big Insuracne is against it, and they are creating phony reports to assert things that aren’t true,.. doesn’t that help reinforce which side you should be on ?
They’ve changed from trying to influence the health care reform, to trying to derail it altogether. Apparently there weren’t enough “freebies” in it for them to loosen their tentacle grip on congress.

Because of the insurance agencies campaign contributions! If we want good government we need to get rid of massive campaign donations by lobbyists.

I want specifics. Don’t just say “He will change the health care industry”. I want to know what specific changes he is going to ask Congress and the health care industry to make.

Do you think that part of the president’s plan includes a way to fight the propaganda that the insurance industry will undoubtedly present to the public.
Remember “Harry and Louise” from the days of the Clinton’s proposed health care reform. Do you think that the Obama administration are preparing a way to fight them if they suddenly make a comeback.
Otherwise, the insurers and health care companies will scare the public from the change they asked for.

Please, elaborate. I hope you don’t think the health insurance industry gives a damn about anything other than making a profit. As evidenced by the fact that 14,000 Americans lose their health insurance everyday. The government wants everyone to get care, and in the process, eliminate waste and things that deny people coverage and bankrupt thousands of Americans that do have health insurance.

Why does Lieberman have reservations regarding health care reform? Maybe it’s because he is in the water boy for the insurance industry?
