I am not sure if I want to go into nursing or become an MD, but I don’t want to go to a huge school. I’ve visited large schools and the small schools I love (Haverford, Bucknell, Muhlenberg) don’t have a nursing program. By the way an MD is my first choice, and I realize that the large schools have nursing. If not what other med careers can I persue at a small school other than MD?

I know that every school is different but how much does it cost to just simply apply?

I mean, is there a lot of difference in what they teach in nursing schools in the Philippines to what they teach in the United States…

Figure out what kind of medical equipment you want to repair and then see what manufacturers have that equipment in your area.
If you want to fix anesthesia machines, find out who makes those machines in your area and then contact them – very often you will have to train elsewhere, but they may need someone in the area you choose to live, so you can eventually settle back there.

I am interested in possibly studying to become a nurse, but I’m a little hesitant about the schooling. Do you have to work on a dead body, because I don’t think I could do that. I know, I know and I want to be in the medical field????

My fiancee wants to become a nurse. He speaks Spanish and English. Do you think this field could be lucrative? Can anyone suggest any nursing schools he could attend in California (Orange County area) and there requirements? Are there many scholarships available? Any other positive advice or tips are also welcomed.

I first went to a Community College. I transferred to a university and went for a year. I readmitted to the community college and still owe the university money. I can’t get a loan so I have to start saving. I want to apply to the nursing school associated with the CC. How will they know what schools I’ve gone to? Is there any way to leave that out, the classes are un-related to the nursing field.

Does anyone know of any grants/monies avaliable for single mothers going to nursing school or any other helpful info??
