I'm having some pretty bad issues with my back and shoulder and have an 80% disability rating from the VA, but the corpsman for my unit doesn't care.. I don't think I'll be able to complete the required tasks for AT (and will end up injuring myself more). Can I go to my VA doctor and get a note and get issued TMPQ to get out of AT?

When I was pregnant the first time- I gave one to my midwife a couple weeks before I was due and one to the first nurse I had at the hospital. They did everything I asked, we never had to answer a question and everyone referred to our plan. It was nice. Just make sure it's not super long, less than 1 page is good. You don't want to confuse them and make them spend too much time going over it. It should just outline your basic needs/wants.

I am currently taking all of my pre rqs to get into a nursing school/college. My academic advisior told me that it would only take about a year and a half but I know it is going to take me longer more like 2 1/2 to 3 yeas to finish all of the pre reqs. I have so many to take -math course,science courses,psychology courses and more. Am I the only student to finish all of the nursing pre reqs in 2 1/2 to 3 years? I know that when i finally get into a school of nursing it would be worth the wait but it feels like a long way off from now? How many years did it take you as a nurse to finsih everything?

How did they treat you? Did you have any complications or problems? How was the staff like? Did they inform you of all the procedures or were you scared? This will be my first child due in May and Ive heard horrible stories about how the mom is treated horrible in the delivery room.
